Aurelynn G
Metalsmith, jeweler, woodworker, and lifelong maker of things that mean something.
Aurelynn has been fascinated by metal for as long as she can remember. The way a flat sheet of silver wakes up under a hammer, the way copper remembers the heat that shaped it, the way a piece of raw wood hides a grain pattern that no one has ever seen until the blade reveals it. To her, making is a conversation with the material, and the best pieces are the ones where both sides get a say.
What began at a small bench with a handful of hand tools has grown into a practice that spans metalwork, jewelry crafting, woodworking and every kind of craft that rewards patience. Pendants, medallions, talismans, small keepsakes and larger projects all come from the same place: a belief that an object should carry intrinsic feeling and value, not just a price.
Why the Moon
The night sky has always been the oldest design book there is. Phases, constellations, orbits and eclipses show up again and again in Aurelynn's work because they are the shapes people have turned to for comfort, courage and wonder for thousands of years. Moonveil Metallurgy is her way of turning that old inspiration into something you can wear close to your heart.
How Each Piece Is Made
Every item is made to order. Metal is cut, textured, domed, soldered and polished by hand. Woods are chosen for their grain and finished to feel warm against the skin. Stones and inlays are set one at a time. Because nothing is mass produced, small variations are part of the character of what you receive, and they are the proof that a person made it.
Work Beyond the Collection
Aurelynn also takes on custom commissions and special projects, from family medallions and memorial keepsakes to engraved wedding tokens and one of a kind woodworking and metal combinations. If you can imagine it and it can be made by hand, she would love to hear about it.
